The Wi-Fi Alliance hosted a Strategy Workshop on Advancing Wi-Fi Technology today in San Jose, CA. Clinical Mobility CEO, Shawn Jackman, presented the opening keynote focused on the enterprise perspective of Wi-Fi and competing technologies. “It is an honor to be invited to play a strategic role in shaping the future of our wireless industry,” said Jackman. “The success of Wi-Fi is incredible. With 12 billion Wi-Fi enabled devices shipped to date and 3 billion more forecast to ship this year, organizations need to focus more on the reliability and user experience of their networks. The proliferation of Wi-Fi enabled devices is undeniable and we all see this trend continuing. In other words, the Wi-Fi train is still gaining speed and hasn’t found the brake pedal yet.”
Clinical Mobility is not just focused on today’s technology and solutions, but also where the industry is heading. As standards evolve and make their way into enterprise products, Clinical Mobility will embrace, certify and spread the adoption of these capabilities for healthcare organizations and their clinical workflow to benefit from.
